Saline Newcomers Club

Saline Newcomers care about their community and stay actively involved. On Thursdays, volunteers deliver meals to homebound citizens as a part of the Meals On Wheels program.

Throughout the year, we take part in assisting Saline Social Services. This wonderful organization provides a variety of services to those in need in the Saline area.

Members have also volunteered to help with community activities upon request such as The Arts Festival, Saline Fair, and the Christmas Parade. A new group formed last year, designated as Worker Bees, make themselves available to assist as possible on an on-call basis as requests come in.  To add your name to that list, contact Michelle Wawrzynski at

Some members have an interest in helping with larger projects such as Habitat for Humanity.  Ideas are discussed with members and often vary each year depending on the current membership.  Any member may offer a suggestion.

At the end of each membership year, the Executive Board makes several donations to worthy organizations from our membership dues.  Again, any member is welcome to suggest a group for consideration.
